HISTORY

A family owned business, GHS Studio started out as Speciality Linens manufacturing textile products from its site at Parkfield, Middleton in 1987. Speciality Linens specialized in locally sourced cottons & prints for banqueting & fine dining with customers including Harrods, Claridges, The Dorchester, Elton John, The Sultan of Brunei and the Prince of Wales to name but a few. Speciality Linens diversified into soft furnishings in 2010. The rapid success in this market led to the formation of GHS Studio in 2011. Since then, GHS Studio has grown to become one of Europe’s leading designers, manufacturers & distributors of upholstered furniture & pet beds with distribution channels in the UK, Ireland, France, Netherlands, Germany & the Nordics.

GHS Studio specialise in supplying to event companies, offices & independent retailers and are highly experienced in developing bespoke ranges for national retail clients. The GHS textile products design studio leads the creative process and an in-house bespoke manufacturing facility ensures short lead times, continuous refinements and high quality levels. GHS are at the leading edge of their market producing superior products with tightly controlled costs for many leading brands. GHS Studio are based in the historical home of the cotton industry, Lancashire, England.

GHS Studio also work with national retail clients on bespoke ranges utilizing GHS managed brands and retailer own label.
